Cedric Benson was placed on IR on Tuesday after injuring his left leg in Sundays game when Denver DB Hamza Abdullah tackled him. Daz can replace his Running Back immediately. In other injury news, just traded for Donovan McNabb along with a lame Adrian Peterson & Patrick Crayton are stopping third placed Johnny from mounting any challenge to Andy H, (he’s only 116 points behind him!). Also out presently are Shaun Alexander, Laveraneus Coles, Marvin Harrison, Santana Holmes, Larry Johnson, Marshawn Lynch & SelvinYoung as well as the previously mentioned 3 other players already on Injured Reserve Jake Delhomme, DeShawn Wynn & Cadillac Williams. If any player is placed on IR then they can be replaced on a BUMS roster by a free agent. Remember if it’s a franchise player you still have to pay him if you cut him. In other injury news Ricky Williams’ agent says he will not play again this year after suffering a torn chest muscle in Pittsburgh’s 3-0 win over Miami - his first game back in almost 2 years. His comeback lasted just 6 carries. BUMS on Seats Due to evening work and concerts we are giving the Friday evening gathering a miss but it’s back to HQ on Sunday from 6pm for the Sky doubleheader – a huge AFC South game as the 9-2 Colts host the 8-3 Jags followed by the intriguing match-up of play-off hopefuls as Cleveland (7-4) travel to 6-5 Arizona. On Monday evening we are back at HQ to celebrate Junior BUMS 16th birthday (he ain’t no junior anymore) as Cincinnati (4-7) travel to Pittsburgh (8-3) and on Tuesday it’s unbeaten New England @ Baltimore (4-7) at H’s.
